K-P0P:BTS Jungkook achieved Circle Chart NO.1!

BTS Jungkook’s title song Standing Next to You from the album GOLDEN has achieved the coveted No. 1 position on the Circle Chart. According to the Korea Music Content Association, it topped the global K-pop chart for the week of Feb 4 to Feb 10. After a brief drop to No. 2, it regained its position and has maintained the top spot for a total of 12 weeks.

He becomes aware of his immense popularity due to this ranking. Simultaneously, at the ‘Circle Chart Music Awards 2023’ (CCMA 2023), Jungkook secures three awards: ‘Singer of the Year Album,’ ‘Global Streaming of the Artist of the Year,’ and ‘Singer of the Year.’ As a solo artist, he triumphs in both the sound source and album categories.
